I used to.....

be a pastor's kid who hated my father. Then, one day God told me that he loved my father the same way he loved me. That broke me and changed my perspective in life. I forgave. What's your story?

Recently Leah, a friend from the church (the media person actually) gave me a call and asked me if I could help her with the upcoming Easter service at our church. I immediately thought I was being recruited for a small part in a play or something like that. Nothing wrong with that, but usually that's what I think when people say Easter. I accepted the meeting and found myself at Starbucks ordering what I thought I couldn't get any longer (since spring had started) : pumpkin spice latte. This had already made my evening, but then Lea shared what the church was going to do for Easter. I will not say much since I do not want to spoil it, but let me just say that whoever comes that day will be blessed! Leah will be filming various testimonies as Easter approaches. People that had an "I used to....." and are saying "now I...." will be documenting their stories with Lea and the crew. This past Thursday I had the opportunity to be with Lea helping film a story of a guy named Sammy Reyes who had his own selfish habits and ambitions, but has turned his life around for a person named Jesus. I was able to take some shots and decided to post here. If you are looking for a church to go to on Easter Sunday I suggest you come to Faith Assembly on March 31st. You will not regret seeing and hearing. You may even change that day. I dare you to come.

Preparing to film

Sammy Reyes, great testimony!

This smile is due to Jesus. He can tell you that!
