As many as you know we had our first "official" event in photography about a month ago. Sure, we did a few one hour sessions here and there, and maybe I photographed my sister's double quinceañera, but nothing official like this one. I gotta say, I am pretty proud of this one. The colors, the beautiful young lady (Brianna) that I had to work with, and the people! Everything about it was so lively. One of my major dilemmas was black and white. If you have been observing my photography, I LOVE black and white. One of my questions for this one was, can a quinceañera event pull of white and black? Will it look to much like a wedding? After editing A LOT, My answer is : quinceañera girls can totally pull this off! Of course, every person is unique, but Brianna definitely exceeded all expectations!
After shooting this event (it was outside) we found out that it had been the hottest day of the year thus far. It makes sense now that I drank four 16 oz of bottled water in one hour and had no need to pee at all. Nonetheless, we all had fun. I am so excited to show these to you, and PLEASE comment away!!!
