Ericka, my 17 year old sister was nominated homecoming queen this past week. Did she get to be queen? No. But ladies and gents, she was NOMINATED! Let me explain why this is huge for me. In High school, I was the quiet straight A (with b's lol) student. I was part of the art club (aka, the misunderstood peeps), and I hated high school. Ericka? quite the contrary. She loves high school. She was involved in softball, photography last year, film this year, and yearbook. What the heck? How can one sibling differ so much from the other?
'Cuase then the world would be boring. Indeed. She offers to the world something that I never will. I offer to the world, something that she never will. So it is the same in the church body. Where you may be a hand, another may be a foot, but our head, brothers and sisters, will always be Christ.
